Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

A cupcake with it's own little handle

Yield: 30 servings

Ingredients

Add small flat bottomed sugar cones to shopping list 30 small flat bottomed sugar cones

Add powdered sugar to shopping list 5 cups powdered sugar

Add shortening to shopping list 3/4 cup shortening

Add butter, softened to shopping list 1/2 cup butter, softened

Add milk to shopping list 2 1/2 tablespoons milk

Add almond extract to shopping list 1 1/4 teaspoons almond extract

Add Assorted candy sprinkles for decorating to shopping list Assorted candy sprinkles for decorating

Add your favorite cake mix (prepare the batter as directed) to shopping list 1 box your favorite cake mix (prepare the batter as directed)

Grocery List: Select Shopping List Adds all checked () ingredients to your Grocery List.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine first 4 ingredients according to cake mix package directions.

Fill each cone with about 2 1/2 tablespoons of batter. Place cones about 3-inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Cool completely.

For icing, beat all ingredients together in a large bowl until smooth.

Ice each cupcake with about 1 tablespoon of icing. Decorate with candy sprinkles and store in airtight container.
